Listen: Peter Chats with Slow Living Radio
Recently Peter Granoff sat down with the folks at Slow Living Radio, you can listen to their conversation here. He was invited by co-host Sally James, an Australian expat with quite the food, wine, publishing and entertainment bio, and in addition is a regular customer of ours at our Oxbow Public Market location. Among other things, she is currently co-host of a nationally syndicated weekly program on Slow Living Radio, which is broadcast live from Yountville – right here in the heart of Napa Valley. Recently Peter and Sally had a conversation in our Napa shop about long held myths in the world of wine, and in no time at all that resulted in an invitation to come on the show and tackle the subject on air.
They were preceded by a segment with Ritual Coffee, our neighbors at Oxbow, which is well worth a listen. Then Peter and Sally, with co-hosts Stephen Andrews and Scott Lewis, roll up their metaphorical sleeves and dove in. They explored Syrah vs Shiraz, sulfites in wine, red wine versus white, the buzzword “dry,” and a few other topics along the way. Pull a cork, pour yourself a glass of something delicious, and have a listen. The wine they are tasting and discuss during the show can be found here: 2009 Orsolani Erbaluce di Caluso
