It’s always a pleasure when we come across a Champagne that debunks the notion that top quality bubbly must always demand a high price. So when we find an affordable and delicious Champagne like the Bernard Ledru Brut 1er Cru Tradition, we tend to stock up! Lily Bollinger of the justly famous Bollinger Champagne firm said it best:
“I only drink Champagne when I am happy, and when I’m sad. Sometimes I drink it when I’m alone. When I have company, I consider it obligatory. I trifle with it if I am not hungry and drink it when I am. Otherwise I never touch it – unless I’m thirsty.”
